WHERE IS OPINION ON 6 / 7 / 8 JUNE
LEEDS MET LANDSCAPE RESOURCE CENTRE VISIT
Phone number 0113 812 7475 | postcode LS6 3QS
Journey planning
From the city centre, you should allow 30 minutes to get to the LRC (if driving or cycling) and 45 minutes if you are on the bus (just to be on the safe side).
Busses
Campus service busses 92 and 28A run from Woodhouse Lane (bus stop opposite Broadcasting Place) directly to the Leeds Met HeadingleyCampus. Other bus services drop off on the OtleyRoad. You should allow 15 –20 minutes to walk from the OtleyRoad to the LRC.
Routes Around the City
Inner Ring Road.
This road is designed to route traffic away from the centre of Leeds. The main stretch runs in a semi-circle from west (A58(M)) to east (A64(M)). In the west, it connects with the M621 J2 via the ArmleyGyratory and A643; in the east, it connects with M621 J4 via the A61.
Routes to the University
Civic Quarter
From the M621 follow Meadow Rd, Victoria Rd and Neville St to City Square. This is City Centre Loop junction 1. Continue until junction 4 (Civic Hall). Keep left and the City Campus buildings will be 400 yards along on the right (beyond the Civic Hall).
HeadingleyCampus (post code LS6 3QS)
From Motorways, start as above. As you reach the Civic Hall, and before you come to the CalverleyStreet buildings, turn right onto Portland Way. At the top of Portland Way, turn left onto the A660. Continue on the A660 for about 4 miles. HeadingleyCampus is signposted to your left (please note the sign is marked Beckett Park Campus).
LRC visitors should use the ChurchwoodEntrance (staffed barriers). From the City Centre –go past the BP garage on the A660 (OtleyRoad) and turn left after the pedestrian crossing. From the ring road (A6210) –go past the Village Hotel, through the traffic lights and turn right before the pedestrian crossing.
Bike parking is available at the LRC. There is the pay and display car park at the Churchwoodentrance. Unusual circumstances can be accommodated by liaising with CARES on 01138128585.

FAQs
Please explain the project further...
Hi
Sorry for late response
Our main aim
In
designing the project was to give young people an opportunity to
debate/discuss/find out what they think about stuff....or discover what
they don't have an opinion about.....
All the materials/modes if expression will be possible workshops but....
Activities will be participant led
So
a topic/subject will be chosen during the first part of a session...eg.
Vegetarianism then a mode of discussion will be explored eg.clay
The debate or discussion or exchange if ideas will be through the chosen medium
However each session will be open to rethinking redirecting abandonment blah blah
Basically
if it isn't going well or ideas dry up we will choose a new topic or
medium or both and the participants will all have a
choice/say/opportunity toexpress their expectations of the session
The sessions are 4hours long! So lunch will be part of the session a break and time to relax and develop friendships maybe....
The
space we have at Leeds met is really brilliant it's where they teach
landscape architecture with indoor amd outdoor spaces so it will be
great for young people to be part of the leeds met campus but also quite
hidden away
Anyway my trains arrived so better send this to you before I lose the email
Is this easier to understand ?
Lx
Please get back to
Me what you think
Hope Fridays being a fun day
